The Art Galleries are pleased to announce that we have extended our current exhibitions!
Harmony With an Edge, by Alice Ballard will be on display from now until July 16th. Alice will also be hosting a video lecture to be released in June.
2020 Annual Juried Student Art Show has been extended until September 24. There will be an Awards Reception scheduled early in the Fall semester.

Today, we are highlighting our photography students from the Student Show. Central Piedmont Community College is proud to offer a diverse art curriculum both degree and non-degree seeking. Every year, photography students submit their work to the Annual Juried Student Art Show. Photographic contributions for this years show include digital photography, computer art as well as dark room photography. Here are a few behind the scenes shots of Alice Ballard’s beautiful studio. It is a space filled with natural light, illuminating finished projects and works in progress. Floor to ceiling windows minimize the divide between the indoors and outdoors contributing to a sense of peace and calmness that is a major part of Ballard’s work.
