Veterans Day is Saturday November 11. In honor of our military veterans and family members, Central Piedmont’s Military Families and Veterans Services will host a Veterans Week.

The Student Equity Council has partnered with Military Families and Veterans Services to host healing circles, followed by lunch at Central Piedmont’s Cato, Central, Harper, Harris, and Levine campuses.

Join our guest speakers in a discussion about veteran association groups at Central Piedmont and how they differ (first half of the meeting) followed by open group (last half of the meeting).

Virtual Veterans Day Talk: A Lesson in Perseverance by Marine and Pulitzer Prize Winner Glenn Proctor

In honor of Veterans Day, Central Piedmont’s Military Family and Veterans Services has organized a Virtual Veterans Day Talk with Pulitzer Prize winner, Glenn Proctor. Proctor is a certified professional life coach and founder of REDDjobb, a Charlotte-based firm focusing on crisis communications, marketing, public relations, women’s leadership, and mental health. He is also a volunteer instructor with Atrium Health and Mental Health America of Central Carolinas. Proctor will share strategy on persevering toward educational goals and staying the course in the face of challenges and during a global pandemic.
