In honor of our military veterans and family members, Central Piedmont’s Military Families and Veterans Services will host a Veterans Week. Learn about overcoming inequalities and increasing equity through success stories and personal experiences from retired military officials who are employed in the field of veteran services and education. You will also have an opportunity to add value and success toward your academic journey.

Virtual Veterans Day Talk: A Lesson in Perseverance by Marine and Pulitzer Prize Winner Glenn Proctor

In honor of Veterans Day, Central Piedmont’s Military Family and Veterans Services has organized a Virtual Veterans Day Talk with Pulitzer Prize winner, Glenn Proctor. Proctor is a certified professional life coach and founder of REDDjobb, a Charlotte-based firm focusing on crisis communications, marketing, public relations, women’s leadership, and mental health. He is also a volunteer instructor with Atrium Health and Mental Health America of Central Carolinas. Proctor will share strategy on persevering toward educational goals and staying the course in the face of challenges and during a global pandemic.
