Barnes & Noble Bookstore Available Online, Submit Summer Textbook Orders Now

Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, the Barnes & Noble bookstore is closed for in-store purchases until further notice; however, all purchases and inquiries can be submitted on the Barnes & Noble website during regular business hours.

Textbooks, Central Piedmont gifts and clothing can still be purchased online at https://cpcc.bncollege.com/shop/cpcc/home

If you are planning to attend the summer term, now is the time to submit your textbook order to Barnes & Noble.

Financial Aid students may submit their orders on the Barnes & Noble website.  Once financial aid eligibility is confirmed for the summer term, your order will be shipped.

The information below provides priority dates and times for currently enrolled students and the first open registration date for new and returning students. If you are a currently enrolled student, you will also receive notification of your assigned priority registration date via Priority Registrationyour CPCC email account.

Priority registration is for currently enrolled SPRING* students in degree, diploma or certificate programs with:

50+ completed* credit hours              Friday, April 25 (noon)

Active Military and Veterans             Saturday, April 26 (7:30 a.m.)

30-49 completed                                 Monday, April 28 (7:30 a.m.)

10-29 completed                                 Tuesday, April 29 (7:30 a.m.)

0-9 completed                                     Wednesday, April 30 (7:30 a.m.)

All other currently enrolled                 Thursday, May 1 (7:30 a.m.)

Open registration for summer and fall 2014 begins May 5. Summer registration ends May 20 and fall registration ends August 17.

*For purposes of priority registration, completed credits do not include ungraded classes, audits, grades of “I” or “F,” literacy classes or non-credit continuing education classes. CPCC Summer Hours of Operation

 CPCC will operate on a four-day, 40-hour work week again this summer. From Monday, May 13 through Sunday, July 21, the College’s hours of operation will be 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Thursday. CPCC will be closed Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, with the exception of the following facilities:
  • Overcash Building on Central Campus will be open for scheduled classes and performances only.
  • Belk Building will be open for scheduled classes only.
  • Culinary Arts Center will be open for scheduled classes and events only.
  • Pease Auditorium will be open for performances and events only.
  • The scene shop in the Center for Arts Technology Building on Central Campus will be open for the summer theatre build only.
  • Harper Campus will be open for scheduled classes only.
  • Hendrick Center on Levine Campus will be open for scheduled classes only.
  • Harris Conference Center will open for scheduled events only.
