The theme was “Back to the Future; 70’s Styling with Hair Color.” The competition was focused on model finishing, but included a verbal presentation for 5-, 10-, and 20-year career goals. “50 Shades of Pink” with the CASA Club
Join the Cosmetic Arts and Science Association (CASA) for an exclusive event on Oct. 1 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Cosmetology Salon Summer Hours
The Cosmetology salon will be closed from May 9 through May 17. The Natural Hair Care salon will continue its normal hours.
Summer dates and hours will be as follows:
Cosmetology salon – Tuesdays through Fridays, May 18 through July 14; 8:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m.
Natural Hair Care salon – Tuesdays through Fridays, May 12 through June 16; 4:30 until 7:30 p.m.
All employees and current students receive a 10 percent discount. Gift certificates are available.

In honor of Veterans Day on Nov. 11, the CPCC Cosmetic Arts and Science Club (CASA) will offer free haircuts to veterans. This offer is reserved for CPCC faculty and student veterans. Clients must have a valid CPCC ID and military ID.

The Salon at CPCC’s City View Center for Cosmetology provides services for both men and women at incredible prices. A haircut is only $7.
All services are performed by CPCC students who are supervised by licensed cosmetology instructors.
Starting May 21, appointments available Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Call 704.330.5455. Walk-ins welcome.
CPCC faculty, staff, retirees and students receive a 10 percent discount.
