A dozen Central Piedmont students participated in the North Carolina Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) State Leadership Conference from April 11-13 and brought home a handful of awards.Β 

Β The students participated in 20 competitive events and eight leadership seminars over the three days. Four students finished in first place in their respective events – Akhilshyam Bollepally, Jose Esquit, Erick Garcia, and Daniel Ramirez.Β 

Β Overall, eight students qualified to attend the National Leadership Conference, and one student, Genchen Hang, qualified in three different events.
