Winter is coming… does the college have your cell phone number?
As inclement weather approaches, now is the time to make sure we have all of your up-to-date contact information so you’ll be the first to know whether you get to leave early (or sleep in) if the college is closed due to inclement weather!
Here’s how to confirm, update and add your mobile, office and home phone number(s) – plus any non-CPCC email addresses – to our Critical Alert emergency notification text/phone/email system:
· Use your CPCC login and password at cpcc.regroup.com
· Go to the black bar at the top of the screen and click “Preferences”
· Click on the “email/phone” tab to update and add contact information
The college sends communication concerning severe weather closings and other critical incidents via Critical Alert, CPCC email, CPCC social media and the CPCC website first before anything is sent to local media. Don’t spend your time waiting for an announcement on TV or radio. Make sure your contact information is up-to-date on Critical Alert now, and simply receive a text and phone call whenever a critical incident occurs.
Please note that you cannot opt out of Critical Alert notification emails to your CPCC account because your CPCC email is the college’s official channel of communication.
