Positioned as only the second North Carolina community college to offer such a program, Central Piedmont is paving the way for students to delve into the dynamic realm of artificial intelligence (AI).

Huge cheers go out to the Central Piedmont stars who recently showcased their incredible talents at the NC Space Grant Symposium, an event sponsored by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). Students didn’t just participate; they excelled, leaving a significant mark with their innovative projects.

Students: Stephanie Perez, Joseph Posas, Madeline Ly, Nicholas Vallanat, Eric Tang, Rosario Sanchez, Nandipa Kuuya, Damian Tillman, and Houda El Yahyaoui. Mentors: Dr. Huihong Song & Markus Moore's guidance and expertise were instrumental in developing and presenting these innovative projects.
