Learning Resource Center, Central Campus
November 12, 2013; 6 – 8:30 p.m.

In coordination with Charlotte’s World Affairs Council and CPCC Student Life, CPCC’s Global Learning Office will screen the documentary “Not My Life.”  Directed by Oscar nominee Robert Bilheimer, this film probes the dark, hidden, and often unspeakable realities of human trafficking and modern-day slavery– multi-billion dollar global industries that earn their profits, as the film’s narration says, “on the backs and in the beds of our planet’s youth.” The film is part of a global awareness campaign on modern slavery.  There will be a moderated Q&A session after the screening.  For more information about the event, you can visit our website at www.cpcc.edu/study-abroad.  To RSVP, email us at global.learning@cpcc.edu or call ext. 6167.  This event is free and open to students, staff and the public.
