The Bechtler Ensemble will return for another fine chamber music performance! This concert will feature cello & guitar and will highlight the talents of our own faculty members, Bob Teixeira and Tanja Bechtler.
There will be lots of variety from our music students as they present their first recital of the fall semester — singers, pianists, guitarists, trumpets, clarinets and more!
Come and welcome our newest vocal faculty member, Mahari Freeman, in her CPCC debut recital on Thursday, October 3, @ 12:30 p.m. in Tate Hall. The concert is free and open to all.

The one-and-only Mike Strauss and his fine band will be here on Thursday, September 26 @ 12:30 p.m. in the Bryant Recital Hall, SL 101. Our very own jazz professor, Matt Postle, will be sitting in on a few of the tunes.

The Bechtler Ensemble will be featured in a chamber music concert on Thursday, September 5 @ 12:30 p.m. in Tate Hall, Overcash, on the CPCC central campus. It is free and open to the public.
This Saturday, May 25, the CPCC Jazz Ensemble and CPCC Big Band will be performing at The Spoke Easy (1530 Elizabeth Ave #100, Charlotte, NC 28204) from 1pm-3pm. If you missed out on our ‘Two Days of Jazz’ in April, now is your chance to come out and support two of our fantastic student ensembles. We will as well have two special guest artists, Fred Dunlap (drums) and Troy Conn (guitar), performing alongside the students. We hope you will join us!
The final week of concerts for Spring 2019 is here! Come and listen to a fine group of student musicians show what the recorder is capable of on Tuesday, 4/30 @ 7 p.m.
On Wednesday is the Baroque ensemble, which will include a diverse array of instruments including harpsichord and two cellos!
On Thursday, 5/2 our music students will wrap up the season with a recital featuring a great variety of instruments and voices.
