A CPCC Ren Fest! Two concerts to enjoy on WED. 11/9 @ 12:30 p.m. & 7:30 p.m.

CPCC will have their own Renaissance (and Baroque!) festival of concerts this week.
Wednesday, 11/9, 12:30pm | Tate Hall (2nd floor Overcash)
Early Music Consort – Sung Lee, director
Consorts of Instruments
Various families of instruments–viol, recorder, crumhorn, plucked instruments, organ–will be featured separately in this concert of renaissance music.
Wednesday, 11/9, 7:30pm | Tate Hall (2nd floor Overcash)
Baroque Ensemble – Dr. Janelle Davis, director
All the Instruments of Joy: Music from 17th and 18th c. England, Germany, and Italy
Music of Purcell, Telemann, Handel, and others will be featured including Handel’s organ concerto no. 3 in G minor.  Come and check out the new portative organ!
Both concerts are free and open to the public.  CPCC students may receive course credit via a QR code, which will be posted at the end of the performance.
