Volunteers needed for healthcare incident simulation

Student in EMT program takes the blood pressure of a medical mannequin. First responders and healthcare systems practice scenarios for handling real and large scale emergencies, and working together across agencies. Central Piedmont is hosting one of these simulations on Saturday April 22, at Central Campus, and volunteers are needed to assist.

  • Health Professions/Human Services students may participate as real providers in your field in this simulated incident
  • Utilize Central Piedmont’s new state of the art Healthcare Simulation Center to treat live patient actors following a Mass Casualty Incident (MCI)
  • Student volunteers needed for multiple roles including assisting command staff before, during, and after the scenarios
  • Lunch will be served to all student volunteers
