The 16th Annual MLK Challenge will take place on January 20, 2020. This event celebrates the life and teachings of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. The day incorporates an educational kick-off, service projects, and a reflection wrap-up. The challenge begins with an introduction to King’s life and lessons, then students are randomly assigned to groups and given a service project at a local organization to complete. Students must work together and utilize problem-solving skills in order to finish their task.
Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are provided for all participants.
Participants should dress for anything. Students will receive a FREE T-shirt and 8 hours of service but must stay for the entire day.
