Starting this month, CPCC Libraries will be profiling a different electronic resource every month. For September, our featured resource is Literature Resource Center. Literature Resource Center is an excellent source for authoritative information about literature and authors. It features reviews of literary works, literary criticism, author biographies and full-text entries of thousands of poems, short stories and plays. Literature Resource Center is located in the Research Databases area of the library website.
Here are just a few of the items found in Literature Resource Center:
- The full-text of many of Emily Dickinson’s poems
- Literary analysis of the works of Stephen King
- Several biographies of James Baldwin
The library has also put together an online video tutorial with instructions on using this resource. This tutorial and others are located in the Quick Tutorials section of our website.
