Your Vote Counts! SGA Elections Begin April 19

In the election, you will choose your SGA president and vice president, public information officer, and secretary.

Cast your vote beginning 8 a.m. on Tuesday, April 19th. The election closes at 11:59 p.m. on Thursday, April 21st. To learn more about SGA and this year’s candidates visit the Student Government Association page.

Serve on the 2022-23 SGA Executive Committee (President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, or Public Information Officer).

Apply Now! All Central Piedmont students are members of the SGA and are represented by elected student officers. This is your opportunity to become an officer – be involved in the democratic process and create a positive change for yourself and for students across the college.

Students who take on leadership roles in SGA serve as advocates for the student body, make budget recommendations, hear funds requests from student organizations and support programs and activities in Student Engagement. You will have the opportunity to grow as a leader, work with diverse issues and have fun while you’re doing it!

Submit your application today. The deadline to apply is Friday, April 8th at 5 pm. Late or incomplete applications will not be accepted.

Elections for new officers of the Central Piedmont’s Student Government Association Executive Committee are taking place next week! SGA leaders serve for a full-year term, representing the needs and interests of all students at Central Piedmont. They provide feedback to college administrators and committees, support student organizations with funding and resources, and support the campus SGA Councils in their work on all of Central Piedmont’s campuses, and even in our remote learning environment.

Learn about this year’s SGA  candidates and cast your vote next week! SGA elections are currently being held online September 15 at 8:01am through Sept. 17 at 11:59pm. All positions are elected by the student body (Central Piedmont employees do not vote).

Fall 2020 SGA Elections Are Coming Up

Elections for new officers of the Central Piedmont’s Student Government Association Executive Committee are underway, and all currently enrolled curriculum students are able to cast their vote! SGA leaders serve for a full-year term, representing the needs and interests of all students at Central Piedmont. They provide feedback to college administrators and committees, support student organizations with funding and resources, and support the campus SGA Councils in their work on all of Central Piedmont’s campuses, and even in our remote learning environment.

Candidate information and voting links can be found here. SGA elections will be held online Tuesday, September 8 through Thursday, September 10. All positions are elected by the student body (Central Piedmont employees do not vote).
