Goodwill Construction Skills Training Center Open House

The Goodwill Construction Skills Training Center. offered at the center – programs focused on specialized areas like construction, carpentry, blueprint reading and estimating, and HVAC and electrical. These programs help high school students and adults access high-potential, family-sustaining trade careers at no cost to them. Skills in these specialized areas can lead to in-demand jobs with great earning potential, health and other benefits.

The Goodwill Construction Skills Training Center Open House is January 31, 7:30-9 a.m. 

This event is hosted by Goodwill® Industries of the Southern Piedmont, Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools, Central Piedmont Community College and The ROC Charlotte.  Guests will be invited to tour/view the training labs and classrooms. There will be students and/or instructors stationed at certain areas to share about the CAD lab, HVAC and electrical training rooms, and construction flex lab.

The Goodwill Construction Skills Training Center is located at 1335 Alleghany Street, Charlotte, NC 28208.   Fresh pastries, fruit, coffee and refreshments will be served.
