Food Services: Spring Break Hours

Central CatalystPlease be aware of the upcoming temporary changes to our campus dining services. Whether you’re grabbing your morning coffee or planning lunch on campus, here’s what you need to know:

Spring Break Schedule 3/4 – 3/10:

  • Beach and Borough Sandwich Shop at Central and Levine Campuses will be closed.
  • Catalyst Coffee locations at Cato, Harris, Harper, Levine, & Merancas Campuses will be closed.
  • Cosmos & Gastrogrill on Central Campus will be closed.

Where to Grab Your Coffee:

Catalyst Coffee at Central Campus remains your go-to spot for coffee and snacks with modified hours:

  • Monday – Thursday: 8 a.m. – 1 p.m.
  • Friday: 8 a.m. – 12 p.m.

Back to Normal:

All our dining locations will resume their regular hours starting Monday, Mar. 11, 2024.

We appreciate your understanding and flexibility during these temporary changes. Our campus dining spots are vital to making Central Piedmont a welcoming and vibrant place to learn and connect.

Harris Campus Catalyst Coffee Now Open

Catalyst Coffee shop serves two students.

The Catalyst Coffee Bar is now open at Harris Campus, located on the First Floor of Harris I. Stop by Monday- Friday, 7:30 a.m.- 2 p.m. for grab-and-go food, or choose from a selection of specialty coffees and teas.

Remember that our food service is cashless, so you can use the Connect & Pay app to pay and even order ahead. (The Harris Campus location code on the app is 0303E8). If you only have cash, vouchers may be purchased at the Business Cashiering office in $5 and 10 increments.

Stay hydrated, caffeinated, and fueled for a successful semester.

Catalyst Coffee Bar is open at Cato, Central and Levine Campuses, from 7:30 a.m.- 2 p.m. They offer a selection of beverages and grab-and-go food items.

Beach & Borough Sandwich Shop is open at Central and Levine Campuses 10:30 a.m.- 2 p.m.

For all locations, you can save time if you order ahead and pay through your account with the Connect & Pay app. Our food service is cashless, so vouchers are also available at the Cashiering Business office in $5 and $10 increments if you only have cash.

The Harris, Harper and Merancas Campus Catalyst Coffee Bar locations will be opening later in fall 2023. All Central Piedmont Campuses also have microwaves and vending options.

Order Ahead and Vouchers now available for on-campus dining

Pay with your phone using the new “Connect & Pay” app that also lets you skip the line and order ahead at Central Piedmont dining locations. All Catalyst coffee bar and Beach & Borough sandwich shop locations are cashless, so payments for food, grab and go items, and beverages can be made only through credit/debit cards, vouchers, and the app. 

The Connect & Pay app allows you to order ahead and customize your favorite campus specialty beverages and food selections, pay, and then pick up at a time that is convenient for you.

Hours of Operation at Central and Levine Campuses:

  • Catalyst coffee bar: Monday – Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 2 p.m.
  • Beach & Borough sandwich shop: Monday – Friday, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Vouchers for Campus Dining  

The Connect & Pay app can also load money to your account from a debit or credit card for future use at Catalyst coffee bar and Beach & Borough sandwich shop. If you only have access to cash, vouchers for our campus dining locations are available for purchase at the Cashiering Business Office on both Central and Levine Campuses. 

Vouchers may be purchased in $5 and $10 increments. Individual vouchers will expire 7 years from purchase, and if lost, they cannot be replaced. Vouchers can be combined, or added with Connect & Pay or card payments to complete a transaction. The remaining balance of the voucher will be printed on your receipt. At this time, vouchers can’t be added to the Connect & Pay app.
