Key Statistics:

  • 1 in 6 college women (16%) has been sexually abused in a dating relationship.
  • 1 in 5 college women has been verbally abused by a dating partner.
  • 1 in 4 women (24.3%) and 1 in 7 men (13.8%) aged 18 and older in the U.S. have experienced severe physical violence by an intimate partner.
  • Over 54% of trans and non-binary people have experienced Intimate Partner Violence (IPV) in their lifetime.
