πŸš€ Central Piedmont STEM Tank Teams Shine at 2025 NC Space Symposium

Students at STEM Tank with their certificatesOn Friday, April 11, the top two teams from STEM Tank Season 6 proudly represented Central Piedmont at the 2025 North Carolina Space Symposium, hosted by NC State University. 

This immersive, statewide event connected students with peers, faculty, industry professionals, and NASA representatives, providing a dynamic space for collaboration and innovation in aerospace and STEM. 

🌟 Student Presentations: 

πŸ›°οΈ Team G.R.I.D. – Jiovani Umana, Vinz Damuag, and Yao Djaka (Mentor: Dr. Matt Miller) 

Focus: A sustainable energy solution for communities affected by power outages caused by natural disasters 

πŸ“± Team Central App – Adriana Castillo, Imtiaz Mohammed, and Elijah Johnson (Mentor: Mr. Tony Stanford) 

Focus: A student-centered mobile app designed to enhance communication and support on campus 

Both teams presented poster sessions, sharing their innovative ideas and solutions with fellow students, educators, and professionals from across the state.
