“A Fall From Grace” and “Floating Blue”

At the Art Galleries we are pleased to host two art exhibitions to kick off the new year and new semester. Stop by the Overcash Gallery to see “A Fall From Grace” by artist and curator Zaire McPhearson. McPhearson’s artwork is not only pleasing to the eye, but also tells a personal story pertaining to the women in her family, their journey through a difficult situation and their ultimate arrival at healing and redemption.

“Floating Blue” is a photography exhibition by New York based artist Thomas Pickarski. Each picture features a floating iceberg photographed in the evening hours, which Pickarsi explains, is also known as the Blue Hour. “Floating Blue” showcases both black and white and color photography, and comments on a icebergs in each photograph by showcasing their frozen and liquid environments

Both McPhearson and Pickarski have artist lectures scheduled for February. Visit our Current Exhibitions Page for more details.
