Artist Statement
This artwork is a statement of a lost soul battling through the different mental states that humans can experience. Through the cyanotype process and a mixture of watercolor paints, the photograph shows emotion from each stroke of color that a person faces and is trying to break free from.

Artist Statement
The eye represents seeing the world through a vision that embraces the differences between us. I wanted to understand the fee ling of being a female deprived of male privilege and explore the idea of being a “colored person”.

Artist Statement
Wave is a study of light and shape. Light shapes every object we see and helps enhance textural structure. I used a simple object as my subject and through the use of different lighting techniques was able to transform it into something fascinating.
