Need help paying for school? Think it would be nice to pay half-price for assistive technology? Some organizations award scholarships and assistive technology grants specifically to students with disabilities! Check out these examples.
- The Organization for Autism Research provides $3,000 scholarships to full-time students with an autism diagnosis. Application are due by May 1, 2015
- The Assistive Technology Fund by The Association of Blind Citizens covers 50% of the cost of assistive technology ranging from $200-$6,000. Applications are due by June 30,2015 and December 31, 2015.
- The LD Resources Foundation grants assistive technology awards to college students with learning disabilities. Awards include Read & Write Gold award, Kurzweil award, Google Chromebook award, and Recognition award. The application deadline is July 15, 2015.
