College applications are already stressful enough without application essays to write, but never fear; the Academic Success Center (ASC)is here to help!

Come to our free workshop on Thurs., Feb. 22, from 12-1 p.m. in Parr 2130 to learn more about the application essay writing process and how the ASC can help you become a more effective writer!

In honor of Hispanic Heritage Month, Counseling Services will host a coloring event. Drop by any time:

Coping Skills Workshop
Come and learn how to cope with life’s stressors and how to identify a support system. You will also get the chance to create your very own coping cards!

Learn How to Cope with Stress with Counseling Services

This workshop, Coping with Stress During Stressful Times, will be held Wednesday, December 9 at 2pm. The workshop will help you identify ways anxiety both helps and harms us, increases understanding of how anxiety works, and offers tools and resources to help us face the stresses we experience each day.

Coping With Stress During Stressful Times

With classes, work, personal lives, COVID-19, protests, and politics impacting us each day, how do we manage that stress so we can continue to be happy and productive? This workshop goes over ways in which anxiety helps and harms, how anxiety functions, and offers tools and resources to help face the stresses we experience each day. Stress is an unavoidable part of life, but that does not mean it has to defeat us.
