Join CPCC’s WorldQuest Team for a Night of Free Trivia and Dinner on Nov. 8 

Do you love trivia or have international knowledge you would like to showcase?

The Global Learning Office is seeking CPCC students to participate in the annual WorldQuest international knowledge competition. All costs are covered by the Global Learning Office.

Date: Wednesday, Nov. 8

Location: Hilton Charlotte Center City

Address: 222 E. Third St., Charlotte, NC 28202

Dinner: 5:30 – 6:30 p.m.

Program: 6:30 – 9 p.m.

Teams will answer questions related to current events, history, geography and other topics of global significance. This year’s categories include:

                    World Flags

                    Geography of Italy

                    Saudi Arabia in Transition

                    History of the Cold War

                    Venezuela in Crisis

                    World Elections

                    Food, Culture, Dance, and Anything in Between

If you are interested in joining the student team, contact Liza Melms at liza.melms@cpcc.edu or 704.220.2722, ext. 3061. The team will have eight members and two alternates, and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

 

Do You Like Trivia?

Join the CPCC WorldQuest team! You will learn about international current events, meet fellow students interested in global issues and network with the Charlotte international community. The game is played in 7-8 rounds with 10 questions per round. Work with your team to answer and win! Dinner is provided before the competition.
