S.O.S. Math (For DMA Students ONLY)

The Mathematics Division offers EXTRA MATH HELP for DMA students through the S.O.S. Math program. Students can attend Extended Math Labs on any campus. These are “drop-in” labs and no registration is required. During the labs, students login to their MyMathLab course and receive help as they complete homework assignments for their course. We also assist students with setting academic goals, overcoming challenges, knowing and using effective study strategies, preparing for tests and managing test anxiety. For a complete schedule of events, search “SOS Math” from the CPCC homepage. Email questions to MathEmporium@cpcc.edu.

The S.O.S. Math Program will also host the following workshop in October:

Do you usually skip reading the MyMathLab e-textbook and go straight to the videos? Do you find reading math textbooks boring, difficult or unhelpful? Join us for one of the workshops below and learn proven methods to improve your math reading comprehension, take better notes, master the notebook check, and increase the chances of passing your DMA and MAT classes.
