Central Campus now has a solar-powered charging station for electronic devices with Micro USB connectors, and Female USB connectors for use with your personal cable. It is located in the seating area by the flag pole, between Kratt and the Elizabeth Classroom Building.
The device, manufactured by Goal Zero in Utah, has three 20-watt solar panels and LED lights. Four hours of sun per day re-charges the 168 watt-hour lithium battery.
Faculty, staff and students are all invited to use this new free service as you enjoy the other new quad amenities.
