Using the Money Smart curriculum, the Keys to Financial Success program is designed to help students navigate through financial obstacles and life events.
This program will offer the following services free of charge to CPCC students:
– Financial counseling sessions (in person and virtually)
– Financial education resources
– In person financial workshops at all CPCC campuses
– An online financial education curriculum

Dr. Debra Sherrill is back to teach us about financial resources. All attendees will receive a free CD of “Money Smart” software which is an interactive game that teaches the basics of banks, saving, credit, loans, buying a home and how to recover from a financial setback. We’ll also discuss some examples of apps and tools that can help you track your expenses or remind you when bills are due. A light lunch will be served. TRiO-Student Support Services, Fifth Third Bank and Corporate and Continuing Education/Financial Services Institute are sponsoring a series of financial literacy workshops. The Money Smart workshops are held on Thursdays through April 19 (except, no workshop on April 5) in Central High, Room 110, from 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. The sessions are free to students and employees.
