Virtual Counseling Services: Mindfulness Series

Have you been looking for a way to cope with the daily stressors of being a student? Join Counseling Services for online sessions to learn how to manage stress with mindfulness. Research shows that practicing mindfulness is beneficial in many areas, including:

  • better sleep
  • lower stress levels
  • improved attention
  • dealing with depression and anxiety

Through practice and discussion, learn to strengthen your ability to “begin again” in the present moment. Whether you are brand new to mindfulness or have been practicing for years, these sessions are for you. Designed specifically for students, each session focuses on a different area of mindfulness practice. Attend one or all sessions.

All sessions are on Thursday from 10:30–11:30 a.m.

  • September 17: Introduction to Mindfulness
  • October 15: Living in the Present Moment
  • November 19: Mindful Eating
