Study Abroad in Jamaica During Spring Break 2017

Students have the opportunity to earn up to six credit hours of college credit and travel during Spring Break to Jamaica. ENG111 Instructor Kimberly Saunders and COM140 Instructor Anne McIntosh are teaming up to offer ENG111 (3.0 credit hours) and COM140 (3.0 credit hours) short session online for spring 2017 with a travel component that will occur during Spring Break 2017 (so as to not interfere with any CPCC courses). The cost of the trip is approximately $2,500. Interested students can complete an application at and pay a $100 non-refundable fee. Please contact Ms. Saunders if you are interested in registering for the ENG111 course and/or Dr. McIntosh if you are interested in registering for the COM140 (Intercultural Communication) class.

Spend Spring Break 2015 in Jamaica

What are you doing for your next Spring Break?  Want to spend it exploring a new culture, tasting authentic Jamaican food, and sight-seeing the natural beauty of the Caribbean? The Global Learning Office will be sponsoring a Spring 2015 Study Abroad program to Jamaica and you could be a



part of this educational experience.

This program will give you the opportunity to explore Jamaica behind the scenes – including culinary delights, the Bob Marley Museum, native animals at the Jamaica Zoo, the role of education in Jamaica at the University of the West Indies, the natural scenery of Coyaba River Gardens, and historical and important religious artifacts.

Travel Dates: March 7-14-, 2015

Program Costs – $2070+

3.0 College Credits – COM 140-60 (Summer 2015)
