#ConquerPossibility: Central Piedmont Alumnus Anthony Brown

Central Piedmont Alumnus and veteran Anthony Brown graduated from Central Piedmont with an Associate in Applied Science degree in hospitality management in 2015. Since that time, he has earned a bachelor’s degree from Johnson & Wales Univerisity and currently works as the assistant general manager for Drury Inn and Suites in Charlotte.

Learn how Anthony took the curriculum credits he earned at Central Piedmont, transferred them to Johnson Wales to start as a junior at the school, and conquered possibility.

Scholarships Available for Students Enrolled in Airline-related Programs at CPCC

If you’re a CPCC student who is interested in pursuing a career in the airline industry, you may be eligible for a scholarship through the CPCC Foundation.Airline Industry

The Foundation has scholarship funds available for the spring 2014 for students who are working toward a degree or certification in one of the following airline-related programs of study at CPCC:

  • Accounting
  • Automotive Systems Technology
  • Business Administration
  • College Transfer
  • Computer Integrated Machining Technology
  • Heavy Equipment & Transportation Technology
  • Hospitality Management
  • Non-destructive Examination
To apply, interested students should complete the online application form at http://www.cpcc.edu/financial_aid/assistance/scholarships/online-application, and include a statement about themselves and the prospect of joining the airline industry in the site’s “career goals” section.
Deadline for submissions is October 31.
