Central Piedmont Community College is proud to participate in Golden LEAF Scholars – Two Year Colleges Scholarship Program. Since establishing the scholarship program, Golden LEAF has provided more than 9,600 scholarships to help North Carolinians attend participating community colleges.
The Golden LEAF Scholars Program – Two Year Colleges Scholarship Program provides scholarships of up to $750 per term (based on the availability of scholarship funding) for curriculum degree seeking students and up to $250 for qualified occupational/continuing education students. The scholarship funds are limited to tuition, books, fees, supplies, credential testing fees for mid-skills training courses, and childcare services and transportation necessary to fulfill student educational requirements.
Eligible students are those students residing in a qualifying county and demonstrate financial need based on the FAFSA data elements for curriculum students. Occupational education or continuing education students are required to confirm financial need based on the Federal TRIO formula. Student meeting the eligibility criteria outlined for this scholarship award are required to complete the Golden LEAF Scholars Program – Two Year Colleges Scholarship application and return to the Financial Aid Office by Friday, Oct. 30, 2015, for further review and consideration.
