Last week, two Project Life Bone Marrow Drives were held at Central and Levine Campuses. The goal of both drives was to recruit a total of 300 CPCC students, faculty and staff. We are happy to report that 207 individuals signed up at Central and 101 signed
up at Levine, making a grand total of 308 new people on the National Bone Marrow Registry. It is likely that one or more of our new donors will have the opportunity to save a life one day!
We would like to extend an enormous thank you to the students and instructors who continuously supported and volunteered during the Project Life Bone Marrow drives. The following CPCC Health Science programs were an active part of our success: Cardiovascular Technology, Cytotechnology, Human Services, Medical Assisting, Medical Lab Assisting and Physical Therapy Assisting.
We look forward to our next Project Life drives in spring of 2013!
