This festival seeks to foster a larger understanding of cultures and a deeper appreciation of the many ethnic groups, cultures and perspectives of our world thereby promoting mutual respect and unity among the various people in our area.  This event will encompass the similarities and differences of cultures through folklore, arts and crafts, food, displays and a fashionable parade of native dresses.  Please come out and join us for a day of learning, sharing and fun.  Be sure to visit our Go Global Student Group at their booth.  More information can be found at http://www.worldparadefestival.org/

2012 is the year to Go Global with CPCC!  Go Global Study Abroad Club is currently offering study abroad programs to China, Costa Rica, France, Germany and more.  Studying abroad is a great opportunity for students to develop cross-cultural skills, boost language skills, gain a sense of independence, gain work skills, see new places, give back and make connections around the world. Fundraising, scholarships and financial aid may be available for students who participate. All majors are welcome.

Go Global meetings are held every first and third Thursday of the month.
