As we gear up for the fall 2019 semester, we want to share some important reminders to help you during the first full week of class. Remember, Central Piedmont is a tobacco-free college. All tobacco products (including anything resembling tobacco products, such as e-cigarettes) are not allowed anywhere at all times. Thanks for your cooperation.

Please note there are still construction projects going on around Central Piedmont’s campuses, so please follow all construction signs: Be alert and watch out around you. Consider removing earbuds and headphones while on campus walkways and when crossing the street.

Here are the top five things you really need to know to be prepared for the new semester:

Attend class on the first day.
Download the Central Piedmont app and use your Central Piedmont login to view your class schedule from My College (or go to My College to print your schedule). Bring a copy of your class schedule to ensure that the location has not changed. Pay attention to both the campus and building names for your classes. Look for information tables on campus to help you locate your classrooms or answer questions. PLEASE NOTE: Monday, Aug. 19 was the last day to add a full semester class without permission. Another twelve-week session begins Thursday, Sept. 12, and the second eight-week short session begins Wednesday, Oct. 16. Check My College for course availability.

  • NEW LOCATION FOR THE CENTRAL CAMPUS LIBRARY: The Library has moved across the quad (to 1241 Charlottetowne Ave.) to make way for construction of the new Central Campus Library and Student Success Center. It’s now located in the former Advanced Technology Center, bordered by the Citizens Building and Charlottetowne Avenue, at the northeast corner of the main quad. See the Central Campus map on the college website. You can easily access the Library from the sidewalk along Charlottetowne Avenue. You also can reach the Library from the main quad, just follow the signs around the construction fencing.
