Sensoria – April 12-20, 2013
Sensoria, CPCC’s annual celebration of the arts, brings the best in literature, music, visual arts, theatre, opera, history, culture and culinary experiences together for more than a week of cultural enrichment, community engagement and pure entertainment.

Sensoria Nights
New this year is a Sensoria Nights, a special highlighted event each evening. Sensoria Nights events include:

Food Trucks
Also new this year, an assortment of food trucks will visit the Central Campus several days during Sensoria. Be sure to stop outside Overcash and sample some delicious food:

  • Saturday, April 13 Roaming Fork (During Jazz on the Green)
  • Monday, April 15 Roots Farm Food Truck
  • Tuesday, April 16 Sal’s Roadside Eatery and The Homegrown Crepe
  • Wednesday, April 17 Cupcake Delirium and Roaming Fork
  • Thursday, April 18 Tin Kitchen

Central Campus Spring Festival Moves to Thursday

CPCC International Spring Fest

CPCC International Spring FestCPCC’s International Spring Fest will take place on Wednesday, April 18 from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m., in its NEW location, the Overcash front lawn.

The weather continues to look like a certain wash-out Wednesday, so CPCC has decided to move Springfest to Thursday, April 19, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m., on the Overcash lawn. While the date has changed, the event will still boast the same features and schedule of events.

International countries will have tents with displays, flags, traditional dress and information about their country. Campus clubs and organizations will also be giving out information and selling various items so remember to bring your cash!

There will also be live entertainment!

  • The Silvertones Steel Drum band, 10 a.m. – noon
  • Yasmine and Magic Hips (Belly dancing), noon – 1 p.m.
  • Polynesian hula dancing and fire/knife display, 1:15 – 2 p.m.

Basketball and sumo-wrestling inflatables will also be available for fun!

Student Government Association candidate speeches will take place at 1 p.m. Online voting at the SGA tent will be available.
