Save the Date: TEDxCharlotteED

A successful K-12 public education system means so much more to a community, a city, a state and a country than just providing a space for students to gather for nine months each year. A successful education system creates a profitable economy and a safe Tedxcommunity. There are many powerful stories of how schools have risen above challenges because businesses, faith-based groups, non-profit organizations and neighborhoods have stepped up to provide resources of time, talent and dollars to enrich the lives of students. It is time these stories are told and inspire others to do more. It is time for TEDxCharlotteED.

On March 28, we invite you to attend TEDxCharlotteED from 8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. in the Halton Theater. We have reserved the 350+ seats in the balcony for CPCC students, faculty and staff so you may participate in as much of the day as you would like. There will be three blocks of TEDxTalk speakers (on average, four speakers per block) tentatively scheduled for the following times:

Block 1:  8:30 – 9:40 a.m.

Block 2: 10 – 11 a.m.

Block 3: 11:20 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
