Three short films will be shown and discussed at this film festival that will look at important local and statewide pollution problems. Participants include June Blotnick, from Clean Air Carolinas; Sam Perkins, from Catawba Riverkeeper; Dr. Rose Mary Seymour, director, CPCC Center for Sustainability; and John Downey, with the Charlotte Business Journal. Attend this event to better understand the scientific link between air and water and understand that many of the same elements that pollute water, also pollute the air. This event seeks to inspire through film and dialog. Join us as we draw a closer connection to the natural elements and to teach you how to be an advocate for supporting the conservation and protection of the earth’s resources.
