Congratulations to CPCC student Whitney Kouaho. Whitney, who is a junior in the Cato Middle College High School program, was one of two students in the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools system to be awarded the British American Council Scholarship, a 12-day travel/study abroad experience in the United Kingdom.

Two Cato Middle College High School students have been named winners of Achievement Scholarship awards through the National Merit Scholarship Corporation.
They are among about 800 national winners of the awards, given to top African American high school seniors. The awards total more than $2 million and are financed by grants from 29 corporate and professional organizations.
This year’s Achievement Scholarship winners included Kamaria Hardy (computer science) and Jordan McClenic (pharmacy). Please join us in congratulating each of them on earning this recognition.
