If you’re hoping your New Year’s resolutions will including improving your finances and your credit score, a CPCC Business and Accounting Division instructor has some advice. Anne Valdes Roberts, CPA, MBA, is part of CPCC’s Accounting and Finance faculty.

She talked with WalletHub.com and shared helpful information about how to improve your credit.

 

Attention Business and Accounting Students!

The National Association for Community College Entrepreneurship (NACCE) is hosting its 2013 conference, October 13 – 16 in Charlotte.

There are two contests that would be of interest to CPCC Business and Accounting students:

  1. Student Fast Pitch – Students can pitch their idea in front of a panel of business leaders and potential investors with a chance to win up to $1,000
  2. Video Essay Contest – Students can provide insights on how to create a powerful entrepreneurial experience on campus. Chance to win $1,000, $500 travel stipend and hotel accommodation for two nights to share your proposal at the conference.
