Attend a Mock Interview Session on Oct. 26

The Business and Accounting Division will be hosting a Mock Interview session on Friday, October 26, 2018, beginning at 9 a.m. in the Terrell Building, 5th floor on Central Campus.  This is a great opportunity for students who wish to gain an edge when entering the labor force.  Practice your job interviewing skills!  Interviews and feedback will be conducted by industry professionals who are Business and Accounting program Advisory Board members.

Students must RSVP by October 24 by emailing UMAccounting@cpcc.edu to receive a designated time slot.

Please come dressed in professional attire and bring a copy of your resume. Open to all Business & Accounting students.

Attention Business and Accounting Students!

The National Association for Community College Entrepreneurship (NACCE) is hosting its 2013 conference, October 13 – 16 in Charlotte.

There are two contests that would be of interest to CPCC Business and Accounting students:

  1. Student Fast Pitch – Students can pitch their idea in front of a panel of business leaders and potential investors with a chance to win up to $1,000
  2. Video Essay Contest – Students can provide insights on how to create a powerful entrepreneurial experience on campus. Chance to win $1,000, $500 travel stipend and hotel accommodation for two nights to share your proposal at the conference.
