You’re Invited! Attend the ACEN Public Meeting Sept. 17

WHAT: Central Piedmont Community College (CPCC) would like to invite you to a public meeting where you’ll be able to share your comments about its Associate Degree Nursing Program with a site review team from the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN). ACEN Accreditation

CPCC’s Associate Degree Nursing Program is currently under initial accreditation review by the ACEN.

ACEN accreditation is a mark of distinction, certifying that a nursing program adheres to the highest national standards of education. To become accredited, nursing programs must demonstrate their program meets ACEN’s exacting standards of quality through an extensive review, which includes facility tours; meetings with faculty, staff and students; meetings with the public; and more.

Help CPCC garner this industry distinction and attend its upcoming ACEN public meeting. We look forward to seeing you there!

WHO SHOULD ATTEND: The general public, including nursing and healthcare professionals, alumni, students and parents familiar with the program, employers (hospitals, physician offices), etc.

WHEN: Wednesday, Sept. 17; 4 p.m.

WHERE: Health Careers/Belk Building, Room 4510, 1335 Elizabeth Ave., Charlotte

If you are unable to attend the Sept. 17 meeting or would prefer to submit your comments in written form, please email sjtanner@acenursing.org by Sept. 10.
