Implicit Bias Learning Opportunity – Blind Spots Bus Tour

Experts in human behavior tell us that our unconscious mind makes the majority of our decisions. It creates blind spots or unconscious biases that can narrow our vision of others and potentially influence our behaviors.

Interested in learning more about how unconscious or “implicit bias” affects the way you engage with other people?  You will have a great opportunity to learn about implicit bias by participating in an interactive learning experience at Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center (NHPMC).

What:    Blind Spots Bus Tour

When:   Tuesday, Feb. 12, 10:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.;  program kick-off begins at 10:30 a.m.

Where:   In front of Presbyterian Hospital, where Elizabeth Ave. dead-ends into Hawthorne at the main entrance to Presby

Blind Spots Bus will be located in a surface parking lot between NHPMC and Atrium/Mercy hospital

Parking will be limited. Walking or CATS Trolley from Central Piedmont Central Campus is encouraged

Who:     All Central Piedmont students and employees are invited
