The Arthur Laurents, Jule Styne and Stephen Sondheim musical “Gypsy” comes to the Halton stage for the first time this winter in time for Valentine’s Day. Considered by many to the greatest of all American musicals, “Gypsy” tells the story of Gypsy Rose Lee and her indomitable mother.  Often called the King Lear of musicals, Mama Rose’s Turn is a tour de force that climaxes an evening of musical theatre filled with amazing tunes like “Everything’s Coming Up Roses,” “Let Me Entertain You” and theshow-stoppingg “You Gotta Get a Gimmick.”  “Gypsy” promises to be a night of theatre to remember for a lifetime.

Central Piedmont students can attend the show free of charge with a valid student ID. Other students in the area can attend for $5. Get your tickets at the SunTrust box office or call 704.330.6534 or online at tix.cpcc.edu.
