Developmental Disabilities Technology Certificate with a Specialization in Children with Exceptionalities (C4538A-C4)

This certificate is designed to provide the student with a concentrated, collaborative course of study in Developmental Disabilities and Early Childhood Education. Coursework provides education, training and support for individuals who work with children with exceptionalities and their families. Students will gain basic knowledge of typical and atypical development, assessment, and integration of children with exceptionalities into the early childhood setting. Students who earn this certificate will have the preparation necessary for employment in schools, childcare centers and at agencies that support children with disabilities from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
