Society and Physical Therapy Assisting students are sponsoring a Lunch & Learn at Central Campus in the Hall Building, Room 304/305 from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. The topic of this Lunch & Learn panel is “Are You The One? Bone Marrow Donation Q & A Panel.”
On Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2013, CPCC Service-Learning, Student Life and the Cardiovascular Technology Association, Cytotechnology Student Association, Dental Assisting Club, Medical Assisting Program, Medical Lab Technology Program, Phi Theta Kappa Honor
The Lunch & Learn panel will feature five panelists; David Lindsay, Founder of Project Life, who is a leukemia cancer survivor and bone marrow recipient; three bone marrow donors, Steve Ball, Mary Dowd and Andrea McGavin; and a current CPCC student, Anita Phanaphathoum, a leukemia cancer survivor.
All panelists will share their inspiring stories of either fighting cancer, receiving a bone marrow transplant or donating bone marrow to help save another person’s life!
