The Young Art League (YAL) is a gathering of young (and young at heart!) art-enthusiasts, artists, collectors, writers, poets, musicians, and performers— an eclectic collection of young professionals and creative types unified in celebration of all the Arts at CPCC. We meet to foster appreciation for the wide array of artistic endeavors and creative pursuits which abound at the college, and to introduce Charlotteans to social, educational, and professional events which will enrich our lives.
As a member of the Young Art League, you will receive invites to YAL’s-only specialty events on campus, and beyond! As part of your annual membership, each and every YAL’s event is FREE to attend, including comped tickets to CPCC’s Theater, Dance, and Performing Arts events on ‘YAL’s Nights Out.’ With so much happening in the Arts at CPCC, there is bound to be a niche to pique your interest. Some of our upcoming events include:
*YAL’s ‘Happy Hour’ Ross & Pease Guided Gallery Crawl
*’YAL’s Nights Out’ at the Theater, Opera, Symphony, and Dance Performances
*’The Art of Collecting Art:’ Lecture series presented by Gallery Director, Cassandra Richardson
*YAL’s catch a ride on the CPCC LYNX Blue Line stop to see and celebrate Charlotte’s brand new, mobile Public Art!
