Written Directions:

Open your web browser and navigate to http://www.cpcc.edu/
In the bottom left corner of the web site, look under the section labeled Online Services for a link called “MyCollege.”
On the next page, look for the login button on the green navigation bar. To login, you will use your CPCC Login. If you are unsure of your CPCC login, click here to look it up.
Once you are logged in, click on the blue button on the left that says “students.”
On the next page, click on “Register for Sections” under the Registration section.
You should now see a page where you can search for courses. First, select the registration term you wish to enroll in. Next, you will enter the course codes that you want to enroll in. Here are your choices for the Film / Video Program:
Video 1 – ART 266
Video 2 – ART 267
Final Cut Pro X Editing I – AAC 8010 (CCE)
Final Cut Pro X Editing II – AAC 8012 (CCE)
Art of Production 1 – AAC 8004 (CCE)
Art of Production 2 – AAC 8014 (CCE)
Important: Video Editing and Art of Production are Corporate and Continuing Education courses. You will need to select either Fall, Spring or Summer depending on the current term under the dropdown menu then select the term and year with a CE1 or CE2 next to it. Video 1 and 2 are listed under the regular Fall and Spring Terms without the CE tag after the year.

7. On the search result page, click the check box next to the courses you want to add to your schedule, and click submit at the bottom of the list.
8. On the next page, click on the dropdown next to the course names and select register, and then click submit at bottom.

The art of production course is an A to Z, hands-on digital film production class. Beginning with the first class, students will learn the basics of filmmaking, from concept to story boarding, assembling a crew, shooting and editing a film.

  • Days: Wednesdays
  • Spring & Summer Semesters
  • Time: 3:30PM – 6:30PM

This course will provide “hands-on” training and preparation for students interested in the fields of Film/Video Production, Broadcast production, and Entertainment technologies.
