We hope you have a good relaxing break. Come by the library and check out our leisure reads and DVDs. They can be a good way to spend your time during the break.
Both libraries will resume regular hours on Wednesday, Oct. 15.

Have a wonderful and safe fall break! Enjoy your time off!
Banned Books Week, September 22-September 26, celebrates the freedom to read. Banned books are titles that have been targeted with removal or restriction due to the content of the book. While books have been and continue to be banned, the reason for the Banned Books Week celebration is the fact that, in a majority of cases, the books have remained available. This happens only thanks to the efforts of librarians, teachers, students, and community members who stand up and speak out for the freedom to read.
We have quite a few books that have been challenged over the years here at the Cato campus library. So come to the library and see our display of some of our banned books. Celebrate your freedom to read!
Here are a few examples:
Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury
Lord of the Flies by William Golding
The Color Purple by Alice Walker
